Microsoft Powerpoint provides a number of useful features for making slide-based presentations professional-looking and easy to follow. Unfortunately, the Microsoft tools for visually displaying mathematical formulas, for those of us who normally use LaTeX, seem incomplete, visually unappealing, or difficult to use. In this talk I'll describe how some of the core Powerpoint functionality is also available in Acrobat Reader, and how to take advantage of this functionality in a LaTeX document.
