Believe it or not, there are many benefits in using LaTeX over Powerpoint for your presentations. Now is the time to learn, because the end of the semester is approaching and presentation season is upon us. In this talk I will discuss Prosper and Beamer, two classes for LaTeX that offer different styles for presentations. This is especially easy if you've already written your paper using LaTeX. The end result is a .pdf presentation -- which will be convenient come time to present from someone else's laptop. Come to learn more.

Refreshments will be served.
