After briefly reviewing the basic framework described last week, we will discuss the following applications: (i) to Lawson's and Willmore's conjuectures related to embedded minimal torii in S3; (ii) to the connection between Bonnet surfaces, Painleve equations and isomonodromy deformations; (iii) to the challenges of extensions to discrete differential geometry.
