Rubrics - A tool to stop "point hunting"

Rubrics - A tool to stop "point hunting"
Series: Mathematics Instruction Colloquium
Location: MATH 203
Our next Math Instruction Colloquium will be hosted on Monday, February 6th from 4 - 5 pm in Math 203. We will be having a directed discussion all about rubrics. In her recent attendance at MEAD, DeAnna attended a panel regarding rubrics and got thinking about their utility. Specifically, maybe rubrics are something that we can use to help combat point grabbing/hunting and instead instill lifelong learning for students. We hope you will join us for a lively conversation around ways to use rubrics for grading, maybe you have some experience using them or maybe they are something that you might want to try in the future.

For those of you that can't join us in person but would still like to participate, here is a link to join us in Zoom: https://arizona.zoom.us/j/84520935405. Password: teaching
