Purpose: come to class with (i) an idea about the next section, and (ii) your own questions!
Don’t skip the examples: try them (struggling even a little bit with problems you don’t know how to do helps you wrap your brains around what makes a problem hard or easy)
Math texts are terse: prepare to READ AND RE-READ
Don’t feel like you have to figure everything out on your own: most important thing is to BRING YOUR QUESTIONS
