Representations of Groups --- Theory and Practice

by H. Pahlings and myself. Participants of the course will receive a pdf-version. In the first part of the course we will review the representation theory of algebras with an emphasis on group algebras (mainly Chapter 1 in the manuscript) and in the second part we will cover representations of groups over finite fields (Chapter 4 in the manuscript).
