In the previous section, we calculated the relaxation oscillation frequency. Now, we can choose close to the frequency so as to access to the resonance of the system. This enables the weak injection to drive the resonance at the injection frequency showing a large periodic behavior. In Figure [7(a)], we see the periodic behavior due to the injection. This is interesting because we see very short, intense pulses at the frequency of . Figure [7(b)] also shows that the field intensity is driven at the frequency of injection.
