Section 3 meets in the Physics and Atmospheric Sciences (PAS) building, room 304, MWF 1:00 - 1:50 pm.
Section 5 meets in the Harville building, room 319, MWF 2:00 - 2:50 pm.

I will be in the tutoring lab, located in Math East room 145, on Fridays from 11:00 - 12:00 pm


The purpose of this course is to promote problem solving and critical thinking skills, by applying concepts from college algebra to common situations. We hope to strengthen the students' conceptual understanding of mathematics, and to help students learn to organize, summarize, graph and analyze data algebraically in order to obtain a better understanding of the data.
