Vector calculus is the study of the calculus of vector fields.
Briefly, a vector field is a field quantity with both magnitude and direction
(i.e. the magnetic field, the electrical field, the velocity field, etc.)
Vector calculus has many rich applications in physics, chemistry, and engineering
and has greatly increased our understanding of the mechanics of the world in which
we live. The purpose of this course it to provide you with both a working knowledge of
the calculus and geometry of vector fields, as well as to serve as a facilitator of your
understanding of this beautiful subject.
