Note: To make changes to an existing (i.e., already submitted) item, please do not fill out the form again; instead, send an e-mail to weeklynews@math.arizona.edu describing the changes/updates. In general, submissions are processed a few times a week, so do not be alarmed if your submission does not immediately appear on the web.
(*): If you set Markup Type to XHTML, you must enclose each paragraph in the form <p>...</p>. You may also use <em>...</em> for emphasis in text, and you can use <b>...</b> and <i>...</i> to get bold and italic symbols for mathematics, as well as ... and ... for subscripts and superscripts. Furthermore, please use Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox or Opera as your browser when making XHTML submissions, as these browsers will ensure your submission is legitimate when you press the Generate Preview button. (At this time, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mac Safari do not properly report errors in your submission. By using IE or Safari, you might unintentionally introduce XHTML errors into the Weekly News, thus rendering the entire Weekly News—not just your submission—unreadable by a significant proportion of its readership.)
