I will detail a staggered grid method to solve a simplified version of Euler's equations for gas flow across a network. The picture is then enriched to include uncertainty at demand nodes - corresponding to stochastic fluctuations of renewables - and extreme events at supplies. We observe and perform small controls of the network to gain more intuition. I will close with some interesting questions this work revealed.
