Statistics & Data Science (SDS)
The Statistics and Data Science Graduate Interdisciplinary Program at the University of Arizona is a unique training program designed to focus and enhance statistical and data science training and research across the UA campus. The program administers both the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees (regular track and statistical informatics track options), as well as a Ph.D. Minor and a 12-unit Graduate Certificate, in Statistics and Data Science which includes a fully online certificate program option. The core courses for the M.S. and Ph.D. include 15 units of theory and methodology foundational material. Students choose additional elective units from a comprehensive list of disciplines across campus. The strength of the Statistics & Data Science Graduate programs is the interdisciplinary nature of the curriculum. Each program is built to the interests and strengths of the student.
