Accelerated Master's Programs: Statistics & Data Science (SDS) or Applied Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics and the Graduate Interdisciplinary Program (GIDP) in Statistics & Data Science have created a Mathematics/Statistics & Data Science accelerated BA/MS and BS/MS program. Designed to focus and enhance statistical training and research across the UA campus, the program is for undergraduate students completing a Bachelor's Degree in either Mathematics or Statistics & Data Science who wish to also complete the MS in SDS in just one additional year.

The Accelerated BA/MS and BS/MS in Applied Mathematics are new as of 2024, and are a collaboration between the Department of Mathematics and the Graduate Interdisciplinary Program (GIDP) in Applied Mathematics. This program is currently limited to undergraduates completing a Mathematics major with the Applied emphasis who would like to also complete a Master's degree with only one extra year of study.
